Did you know you could make your Google + posts share publicly, from your blog? Yes, you can!! It can be set up directly from your WordPress Dashboard and that is exactly what I did when I discovered it could be done. Just don’t do what I did…I kept checking my Google + page only to realize that my posts were being shared privately, not publicly! I have since figured out what I missed when setting it up and am happy to share.
Step 1: Head to your WordPress Dashboard
Step 2: Click on “Settings” then “Sharing”
Step 3: Next, choose “Connect” or “Add New” next to the g+ icon under “publicize”
Step 4: You will then see a screen similar to the one above. Make sure to click the “edit” icon (highlight by arrow).
Step 5: Lastly, you will be taken to the next page (pictured below), where you will select the first option and choose to share publicly and/or with your circles. If you happened to only want to have your posts “share privately” you could choose that option!
Have you checked you Google+ to make sure you did not make the same mistake I did?
